Join the Catholic Action Network

From Fr. Dan Condon, Diocesan Chancellor:

Please join the Catholic Action Network.

The Catholic Action Network (CAN), an arm of the
New
York State Catholic Conference, gives us all a voice in the halls of government.
Through email and social media alerts,
CAN reaches tens of thousands of Catholics across
New
York State to provide educational updates on the important issues being debated and to provide the tools
to simplify the
process of contacting our elected officials.
At present, you
will find information on Catholic community efforts to stop
the legalization of physicianassisted suicide and
support the proposed state aid funding for

Catholic schools.
Please consider signing up for the Catholic Action Network:
Action Center – New York State Catholic Conference (nyscatholic.org)

RCIA Program

“So you want to become Catholic?”
RCIA FOR ADULTS IF FOR YOU

Are you interested in learning more about the Catholic faith? Perhaps you are married to a Catholic and are bringing your children up in the faith, and you would like to participate fully in the Mass as well. Or you attended a wedding or funeral of a friend or loved one and would like to explore this faith tradition more deeply. Maybe it is an interest in Catholic Social teaching or an experience of the sacraments; or maybe you have a friend or family member who is Catholic and their presence in your life is an inspiration.

Whether you have never been baptized, or attended Sunday school, or were baptized in another Christian faith and are now interested in the Catholic Church, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) could be for you. The RCIA is a process in which the faith journey of an individual is honored and together we talk about God and faith and the core beliefs of the Catholic faith.

For more information, please call the parish office at 607-739-3817. Please provide your name and contact information for our RCIA coordinator to contact you.

For additional information on our RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children), contact Amanda Reeves at 607-739-8214.
