Prayers and Squares

Prayers and Squares is a group that makes lap size quilts for our parish. The finished quilts are displayed at the weekend Masses several times during the year and are available for anyone needing comfort and prayers.

The 4th and 5th grade students at St. Mary Our Mother school help tie the quilts and pray the Rosary over them. Many hands are needed to make the quilts and no experience is necessary. The group meets twice monthly in the afternoon. If you would like more information, please contact Wilma Sullivan
at (607) 731-8085.

2025/2026 Catholic Ministries Appeal

The Diocese of Rochester has launched the 2025 Catholic Ministries Appeal (CMA).

The purpose and necessity for the CMA is unchanged after more than 40 years.
We are responsible for continuing the Church’s mission through good times and bad, through prosperous times and lean times.
People are still poor, hungry, in need of pastoral care, education and employment. The faithful are in need of ministry and a vibrant parish life.
Our youth and young adults are yearning to learn and grow in their relationship with Christ.
The Church and our diocese are in need of trained and educated seminarians, deacons, and pastoral leaders to lead our Church into the future.
We are called to meet these needs.

Starting next weekend, we will have more information to share
with you about this year’s appeal.

Stewardship Committee

Our parish has had in the past a Stewardship Committee, which helps raise our awareness of our baptismal call to be good stewards of all God has given us.
At this time, due to the moving and relocation of many members of this group, the time has come for a reorganization of this group.
If you feel the desire to become a member of this committee, please contact Father Linsler through the parish office, 607-739-3817.

Join the Catholic Action Network

From Fr. Dan Condon, Diocesan Chancellor:

Please join the Catholic Action Network.

The Catholic Action Network (CAN), an arm of the
New
York State Catholic Conference, gives us all a voice in the halls of government.
Through email and social media alerts,
CAN reaches tens of thousands of Catholics across
New
York State to provide educational updates on the important issues being debated and to provide the tools
to simplify the
process of contacting our elected officials.
At present, you
will find information on Catholic community efforts to stop
the legalization of physicianassisted suicide and
support the proposed state aid funding for

Catholic schools.
Please consider signing up for the Catholic Action Network:
