Adult volunteers who work with children, youth, or vulnerable adults are required to complete the Criminal Record Check process and participate in Creating a Safe Environment (CASE) training. All volunteers must participate in a renewal of training as determined by the Diocese of Rochester (currently every three years.) |

Adult Volunteers (18+)
To complete your CASE training, complete the 3 easy steps by clicking the boxes below. After each step, you will be required to send the following forms to lily.barr@dor.org (or drop them off in the parish office) before you can volunteer with any St. Mary our Mother ministry:
- CASE Training Certificate of Completion
- Completed Copy of the Background Check Form
- A copy of your ID (Passport or License)
- Signed Code of Conduct

Volunteers Under 18 (Minors)
The process for teen volunteer training for safe environment is simple. Teens will participate in an in-person training at their parish. The training includes prayer, review of the Code of Conduct for Minors, and unpacking different scenarios that teens might encounter in order to applying the rules from the Code of Conduct for Minors.
