Helping Families Prepare for the Sacraments with Joy!
Sacramental Preparation is a holy & joyful journey of faith for children and families.

🔹 First Reconciliation & First Holy Communion (starting in 2nd grade)
Eligibility: Baptized Catholic child, completed at least 1 year of Faith Formation, age 7+.
Process:
- Parent‑child session in fall
- First Reconciliation celebration (winter)
- Eucharist retreat (spring, parents attend)
- First Holy Communion Mass during Easter season
Catechesis is readiness-based and rooted in prayer, Scripture, and liturgical celebration.
🔹 Confirmation (starting in Grade 8)
Eligibility: Must be baptized Catholic, received Reconciliation & First Eucharist, and completed at least one year of Faith Formation before starting.
Year 1: Classes + monthly Youth Group + service projects. Covers Church history, sacraments, outreach.
Year 2: More in‑depth formation on Mercy, Spiritual & Corporal Works, Gifts of the Spirit; students choose a saint & sponsor; sponsor relationship; continued service & Youth Group.
Confirmation Ceremony: Typically in May with Bishop Bonnici
Note: Youth Group is required both years and meets monthly to fulfill community & service goals.
